November 5, 2004 CRS Engineering and Design Consultants, Inc. has completed construction documents for the new Caldwell Elementary School in Scottsboro, according to D. Andrew York, PE, principal in charge for CRS. The 65,000-square-feet building will be adjacent to the existing school. Construction is expected to begin early next year (2005). York is project manager for CRS and O. Wade Parker provided electrical engineering and telecommunication services. SKT Architects, of Huntsville, is the architectural firm. CRS Engineering and Design Consultants is a 26-year old firm based in Birmingham that specializes in commercial, healthcare, institutional and religious buildings. CRS performs services in electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, lighting design, telecommunication design and security systems design. The firm also has a Huntsville office. |
