Canterbury United Methodist Church

         CRS Engineering and Design Consultants has recently completed construction management on the renovation of the sanctuary of Canterbury United Methodist Church on Overbrook Road in Mountain Brook.

         The renovation was Phase I of a three phase plan. CRS provided mechanical and electrical engineering and lighting design for the first phase of the project and will provide electrical engineering and plumbing design for Phase II, which is the construction of a parking deck.

         Phase III of the Canterbury project will include additions and renovations to the present campus.

         The team includes Scott Bruner, PE, project manager and mechanical engineering design; John Gill, PE, lighting and electrical engineering design; Bill Early, plumbing design, Richard Stehr, PE, fire protection design, and David Huddleston, fire alarm systems. KPS Group is the architectural firm for the project.

         CRS Engineering and Design Consultants is a 26-year old firm based in Birmingham that specializes in commercial, healthcare, institutional and religious buildings. CRS performs services in electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, lighting design, telecommunication design and security systems design.

         The firm also has an office in Huntsville and Jackson, Mississippi.
