September 9, 2004 CRS Engineering and Design Consultants, Inc. has completed schematic design and is expected to finish construction documents in October for a 35,000-square foot, three–story dormitory at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. The dormitory is a project of Capstone Development and is expected to be completed by fall of 2005, according to Ken Cater, PE, CRS principal on the project. Other CRS professionals on the project include: O. Wade Parker, project manager; Darrell Gill, mechanical engineering design; Parker and Jason Blocker, electrical engineering design; Charles Foshee, plumbing design; Richard Stehr, PE, fire protection, and John Thomas, telecommunications. CRS Engineering and Design Consultants is a 26-year old firm based in Birmingham that specializes in commercial, healthcare, institutional and religious buildings. CRS performs services in electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, lighting design, telecommunication design and security systems design. The firm also has a Huntsville office. |
