Advance Orthopedic Center

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - CRS Engineering and Design Consultants, Inc. is providing mechanical engineering design, electrical engineering design, plumbing design and fire protection design on an addition to the Medical Office Building for Advanced Orthopedic Center in Richmond, Virginia.

      Construction is expected to begin on the 58,000-square feet, two story addition in the next 60 days.

      According to Ken Cater, PE, president of CRS and principal on the project, other CRS professionals on the job include Mike Romine, PE, project manager and electrical engineering design; R. Scott Bruner, PE, mechanical engineering design; Derek Henry, PE, mechanical design; Charles Foshee, plumbing design, and Richard Stehr, PE, fire protection design.

      The project architect is Worley Associates located in Richmond.

      CRS Engineering and Design Consultants is a 26-year old firm based in Birmingham that specializes in commercial, healthcare, institutional and religious 1st add Advanced Orthopedics buildings. CRS performs services in electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, lighting design, telecommunication design and security systems design.

      The firm also has a Huntsville office.
