West End Baptist Church

     CRS Engineering and Design Consultants, Inc. has completed design documents for the new 40,000-square foot $4-million West End Baptist Church to be build adjacent to the present sanctuary in Clanton.

     CRS is providing electrical engineering design and lighting design for the project which includes a 15,000-square foot sanctuary to seat 1,000; administrative offices, Sunday School classrooms and storage areas, according to John Gill, PE, LEED, principal in charge for CRS.      Other CRS team members include Samuel Dunn, LC, LEED, project manager and lighting designer; Matthew Wagner, electrical design, and David Huddleston, electrical/ technology design.

     Other project team members include Poole & Company Architects, LLC.

     CRS Engineering and Design Consultants is a 32-year old firm based in Birmingham that specializes in commercial, healthcare, institutional and religious buildings. CRS performs services in electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, lighting design, telecommunication design and security systems design.

     The firm also has a Huntsville office.
