Dallas Bay Baptist Church

CRS Engineering and Design Consultants, Inc. has completed construction drawings on Phase I of a two phase 85,500-square foot new construction and renovation project for Dallas Bay Baptist Church, outside Chattanooga, Tennessee, according to John Gill, PE, principal in charge for CRS.
The 38,000 square foot Phase I project includes renovation of 11,500 square feet of existing offices and Sunday School rooms and 26,500 square feet of new construction to include family life fellowship space.
A new 47,500 square foot, 1600 seat, performing arts style worship center, will be built in Phase II. It is being designed to reflect the contemporary worship style of the church.
CRS professionals on the project, in addition to Gill, include R. Scott Bruner, PE, project manager and mechanical engineering design; Greg Mullinax, PE, electrical engineering design; Sam Dunn, lighting design, and Richard Stehr, PE, fire protection design.
The Garrison Barrett Group is the project architectural firm.
CRS Engineering and Design Consultants is a 30-year old firm based in Birmingham that specializes in commercial, healthcare, institutional and religious buildings. CRS performs services in electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, lighting design, telecommunication design and security systems design.
The firm also has a Huntsville office.
