Additions to Pinson Valley High School

CRS Engineering & Design Consultants, Inc. has completed design drawings for a performing arts center and additional classrooms at Pinson Valley High School, according to John Gill, PE, principal in charge for CRS.
Included in the two-story, 55,000 square foot addition is the performing arts center wing which features an entrance lobby, 650 seat auditorium, band and choir rooms, stage and shop.
The 10 additional classrooms, adjacent to the existing building, will be used for science classes and labs.
The CRS team, in addition to Gill, includes Jim Teissere, project manager and electrical engineering design; Sam Dunn, lighting design and electrical engineering design. Emory Kirkwood, of KPS Group, is the project architect.
CRS Engineering and Design Consultants is a 30-year old firm based in Birmingham that specializes in commercial, healthcare, institutional and religious buildings. CRS performs services in electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, lighting design, telecommunication design and security systems design.
The firm also has a Huntsville office.
