  • Acts as project engineer for his discipline, with responsibility for: design concept, construction budget, code compliance, design calculation, and specifications.
  • Responsible for Quality Control Program assurance for each project.
  • Supervises production staff, including staff engineers, designers, CAD personnel, and administrative assistants, reviewing for compliance with project design criteria and codes.
  • Performs technical training for design and production staff.
  • Evaluates design staff on a continuous basis; makes recommendations to Director for promotions, terminations or salary adjustments.
  • Assists Department Head in the development of large or key project presentations, participating in presentation.
